We understand that occasionally a product may not meet your expectations. This Return & Exchange Policy outlines the conditions and procedures under which we accept returns and exchanges, ensuring a fair and transparent experience for all our customers.
2. Return & Exchange Window
⏱ 48-Hour Return Window
All return and exchange requests must be raised within 48 hours of receiving your order or purchase. Requests submitted after this period will not be eligible for return or exchange, except in cases of manufacturing defects verified by our team.
3. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for a return or exchange, the following conditions must be met:
- The return/exchange request is raised within 48 hours of delivery or purchase.
- The product is unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.
- Original proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) is presented.
- The product is not from the non-returnable category listed in Section 5.
- Items must be returned with all original accessories, labels, and components intact.
4. How to Raise a Return / Exchange Request
To initiate a return or exchange, please follow these steps:
- Step 1: Contact us within 48 hours via phone or email (details below).
- Step 2: Provide your order number / receipt and a brief description of the issue.
- Step 3: Our team will review and validate your request within 24 hours.
- Step 4: If approved, bring the item(s) to our store or follow the courier instructions provided.
- Step 5: Upon receipt and inspection, we will process your exchange or refund.
5. Non-Returnable / Non-Exchangeable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Items that have been used, damaged by the customer, or altered in any way.
- Products without original packaging or missing labels/tags.
- Customised or personalised stationery (e.g., name-printed notebooks, custom covers).
- Perishable art and craft consumables (e.g., open paint sets, glue sticks, clay).
- Items purchased during clearance sales or on promotional discounts unless defective.
- Digital products, gift cards, or vouchers.
6. Exchange Process
If you wish to exchange a product for a different item or the same item (due to defect), please contact us within the 48-hour window. Exchanges are subject to stock availability. In case the desired product is out of stock, we will offer a store credit or a full refund.
7. Refund Policy
Approved refunds will be processed as follows:
- In-store purchases: Refund will be issued in cash or as store credit within 2–3 business days of return approval.
- Online orders: Refund will be credited to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
- Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a manufacturing defect.
8. Defective or Damaged Products
If you receive a defective or damaged product, please contact us immediately within 48 hours of receipt with a photograph of the damaged item. We will arrange a free replacement or full refund upon verification. Vidhyarthi Stationers takes full responsibility for all manufacturing defects and shipping damage caused during delivery.
9. Validation of Returns
All returns are subject to validation by our team. A return is considered valid only if:
- The request is submitted within 48 hours of purchase or delivery.
- The product is physically inspected and found to match the reported issue.
- The product has not been used, tampered with, or intentionally damaged.
- Proof of purchase is provided and verified.
- The item complies with all eligibility criteria listed in Section 3.
